It has a resolution of 10.2 MP along with a maximum aperture of 3.5. The optical zoom is 10x and the shutter range is 30-1/1600. It has a 3 inch TFT LCD Clear panel and also a viewfinder. One of the most impressive features of this camera that has been pointed to in many digital camera reviews is that it has a GPS and an in-built compass. This allows photographers to tag their images with the correct location. Google Earth can then use this information to find the images as per the location. It can shoot at 10 frames per second and has up to 15 scene modes for different levels of control including Intelligent Auto, Manual and Program modes. At $349, this camera is a great buy with its amazing features.
The Pentax K-x is another of the favorites pointed out in many digital camera reviews. Costing around $649, this camera has a resolution of 12.4 MP and a 3.0x zoom equivalent to 18-55 mm kit lens. It has a 2.7 inch LCD display along with a viewfinder and a max aperture of 3.5. It is compatible for SD and SDHC cards and can shoot at 4.32 frames per second.
