Dual-Wavelength Laser Source for Fiber Optic Networks
Toronto,Canada – GAO Instruments (www.GAOInstruments.com) has announced the availability of this dual-wavelength laser source – a high performance device specifically designed to deliver stable laser signals of various wavelengths to evaluate the transmission quality of fiber optic networks. It is widely used in LAN, WAN, CATV and remote optical networks. The laser source also assists in determining fiber type and tests continuity as well as optical loss. Used in conjunction with GAO’s 800 optical power meter,the two make an ideal pair for fiber optic applications.
This portable, dual-wavelength laser source, model A0670016, emits stable dual-wavelength laser signals and performs accurate fiber optic testing. Its working wavelength is switchable between 1310nm and 1550nm (±20nm). The meter features low voltage warning, automatic power off, and simple button operation. An LED status indicator is provided for output wavelength display.This laser source can deliver five hours continuous operation on a single charge and supports FC, ST, SC adapters.
