You can play a scrape or scratched compact disc ruin?
I have a few scratches and / or scratched CD's that I hear all the time and play perfectly well but I came across an article that actually if you read a scratched CD is played, it will actually mess it up. Also, if the CD's are scratched and / or scratched, why play well. After all, you can see the marks and scratches! Should not they be ruined?
I have a lot of problems to believe that playing scratched disks / scratch damage them more. The whole thing is that only laser light touches the disc. The reason is because the game designers CD thought of that. There is a process called "Checksum" and "parity" which is computer-speak that simply means that data is distributed indeed the whole album in several places. These places are supposed to "add up" to a particular value. If not, the system attempts to recreate the missing value of some of the others. Thus, even damaged discs will continue to work. Years ago, when I sold stereos, made a "torture in the record" by placing a strip of adhesive tape about 1 / 8 "wide through a CD (the center hole toward the outer edge.) Different brands of CD players would deal with this album and others could not. This shows that there was a better resilience
